I am a girl...

Because I am a girl...

I want to live on my principles,
Wanna fly in the open air,
Where there is no wall of ritual-customs,
Whatever I do, there is no restrictions,
Is it possible,
May be not,

Because I am a girl...

Everyone's eyes on me,
This people- society keeps an eye on my every move,
I wish too
Touch the height of sky,
Dives in the ocean of dream,
But My dreams, my desirs all die inside of me
I just have to stay with in a limit,

Because I am a girl...

My mother often tells me,
You are a girl, you have a boundary,
Never do such a thing which will embarrassed us.
She never says such lines to my brother

Because I am a girl...

I have to accept everything from mother,
I just have to live in the dignity of our society,
I can't go away from this

Because I am a girl...
